actionable information on nutrition,
foods and mental/emotional states
that prevent, control, or heal cancer and other chronic conditions.

Information provided on this website is includes scientific findings in integrative and conventional medicine as well as the knowledge I gained from personal experience, and consultations with some of the leading holistic health practitioners in the field of cancer.

"Conventional medicine" refers to main stream treatment options: chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation.

Integrative medicinecombines treatments from conventional and complementary/holistic medicine, for which there is high-quality evidence of safety, synergy and effectiveness.

My journey began in 2010 and has culminated in a wealth of knowledge that I am compelled to share to help you navigate through the confusing and unsettling process of cancer and treatment. It is difficult to sort through the endless sources of information passed on through our physicians or online.  Here I bring together the most important aspects of your decision making process, and the options you can choose for recovery.

Telling my Oncologist that I would be taking an Integrative approach to my recovery was met with doubt. Far from supporting me, her reaction exhibited an: "Isn't that nice" dismissive attitude. Oncologists treat symptoms, not underlying causes of disease. Without attention to the latter much is missed or worse, harmed.

I knew from the beginning that I wanted to actively participate in my progression to good health, and under no circumstances would that have been possible without preparing my physical, emotional and psychological 'bodies'  to withstand toxic treatments and the emotional ride.  I needed to do everything possible to stay fit, postitive and strong.

Conventional therapy is devastating to healthy physical tissue and just as toxic to our sense of well being. When you feel awful it's harder to be upbeat and confident about healing…but it's critical that you do so.  Keep reminding yourself that 'this too shall pass'.
